off a little bit and some light showers are run the bay area. there are two different systems, one on saturday, one on sunday, and we will take a look with complete coverage, coming up. live team coverage. dan kerman is in the north bay. charles clifford is in the east bay. and alecia reid is in san francisco. but first. weather center with jaquelyn our storm team coverage bay... where a man is dead. he was pulled from a rain- swollen creek in santa cruz county. kron four's rob fladeboe has the story now... from capitola. the coroner and santa cruz county search and rescue team pulled the body of an uniddentified male from soquel creek along bay avenue shortly before 11 a.m. >> at this point it does not look like there is anything suspicious. simply that it

is a person that that is a submerged in water, deceased. >> friday. police at the time could not say if the man drowned or whether his death is storm-related. police were also checking to see whether the grim discovery is related to the search for a missing man named christian deward, whose picture is posted on a nearby bridge over the creek. police urged others to steer clear of this and other areas creeks and streams which are on the rise. >> is really dangerous my advice would be to stay away from the creeks. we do not know exactly how he ended up in the creeks but of course through this investigation we will hopefully be able to determine that. in santa cruz, rob fladeboe, kron 4 news. >> tracking the storm live in the north-bay, kron4's dan kerman. dan, you're in novato near 101 tonight -- how's it looking?

>> right now, there is a light drizzle but earlier it was pouring. it is moving pretty decently at the 101 north on which are the headlights that we see coming towards us. let me show you some video of her fender benders. 1 0 1/novado. a couple of cars got tangled up in this really got the brunt of it. a mother and child seemed to be okay but the of roads are wet and as i mentioned, even if it's not raining hard it is been raining hard all day. people really need to pay attention and drive slower. it does not look like people are going that behind me. in addition, the grounds are saturated. has a result the trees are falling over and over again. several instances and terisa a estacio. >> take a look -

the winds were so ferocious in mill valley overnight that it toppled this big tree .... snapping it in in half. and when it fell, it fortunately missed the house nearby and with it's residents sleeping inside... but instead it landed on this suv. you can see how the vehicle is stuck underneath... branches and leaves sprawled out on the hood. the owner was quite surprised when he came out to find what had happened, relived no one got hurt... and focused on getting to work. >> i went to sleep around 1:00 last night it was pouring but not too bad. i did not hear the wind that bad, honestly. >> does the car work? >> yes, i need to go to work... it seems to be working... >> the car sputtered a bit but continued to run as the resident left. in the meantime, work crews sprang into action to clear away the potentially dangerous debris out of the road.

east bay. this is video from highway 24. near the caldecott tunnel. further east along highway no. 4/oakley there were two cars that collided around 1:00 p.m. in the rainfall. that a young boy was ejected he might not have been wearing his seat belt he was flown to a children's hospital. no word on his condition. his mother was also transported to hospital. clearing skies but it returned with rainfall. >> here, we can see that the rainfall is causing issues with haazig madyun"it's plugged with something" >> this contra costa county public works crew is trying to clear this storm drain here on meadow road in walnut creek before the water completely oveflows onto this two lane roadway the danger here is for standing water to collect roadcreating a hazard for drivers as it is difficult for motorists to detect

>> that is correct, pam. here in treasure island there are massive amounts of water of the road. trust me. that is not the worst of it. our cameras found water that was deeply enough to swallow my rain boots up to my ankles. most of it was on the roadways making it an obstacle course for drivers. the wind on treasure island is also pretty strong. with patches of water anything that was not held down with sandbags or withstanding the dust were toppled over. many try to go through what this person welcomes the wet weather. >> life goes on. of course, a disaster is a different thing but i've not seen anything disastrous yet. grateful for the water, it is good. trees also came

walnut creek. and through the hills. pleasanton, dublin, some heavy rainfall in starting the 580 at this hour. as reticulated the satellite/radar is pressing to the east. this was stalled over the bay. that brought us that rainfall. as we take a look of a wider view this area to the north york how he will be pressing towards a sunday. if that futurecast is not pinpointing a lot of showers for tonight or tomorrow or. we could see more rain fall on saturday. conditions are favorable for rain but this is not actually showing the totals. it would be good to see it breaks in the evening. i would definitely keep the umbrella handy and plan on light rain for tomorrow. also as we go towards tomorrow, the heavy rainfall comes in once again. moving

decorations...right on cue. looking as though he's really interested in what he sees.. his rounds - padding along from room to room. large likeness of himself - >> and look closely at this next video... as a miami weatherman is doing a live broadcast.... notice anything at thea little tail sort of sails by... this cat made a surprise visit. the people at univision say there are usually a few cats wandering around the parking lot.. somehow this one managed to get if inside. the weatherman seemed to pretend it wasn't happening....but lots of viewers noticed....and liked the added twist to the show. keeping with the animal theme.. a zoo in singapore is show- casing these giant pandas for the first time.. they arrived at what's called "river safari" three months ago - but the pandas were kept in quarantine at first to make settling in without any problems. this is their public debut - and people love them... the postal service in singapore has issued special stamps to mark their arrival... and there are even commemorative coins.
